Not only are we setting up a new website but we are also setting up a new community for Triathlon and triathletes in the Purbeck and Dorset area. To help us with this we will be using several “social networking” tools to get us started, stuff like Flickr, Twitter, Facebook etc.
Flickr is a great website for storing photos and pics and sharing them out for everyone to see and for featuring and embedding them into a website. The main Flickr website is here www.flickr.com and when you join you can upload photos into your “photostream” which is your main page of photos that is publically available.

The last 12 photos that are uploaded to our photostream are shown on the right hand side of each page in the sidebar. Clicking on any of the thumbnails in the photostream will open up the full size image in Flickr.
We are currently looking for club photos and pics to get the photostream started, if you have any please send them to fran@tripurbeck.com along with a photo title.
