Racing Racing!

The main season is about to get underway and today saw some big performances from the TriPurbeck team. It was the Southwest Junior Champs at Castle Coombe race track and TriPurbeck athletes were in action and taking medals. Henry M and Jack B both caught the eye of the Southwest academy coaches finishing 3rd and 5th respectively in the Tristar 2 categary. Annie successfully defended her Tristart title beating last year’s time by over a minute and Max (who is just 6) masceraded as a 7 year old to take 3rd in his first ever race – and he did it with a big grin on his face the whole way!! Not to be out done, Mum (Fran) dusted off her TT bike to take 4th in the ladies race, nearly 2 minutes quicker than last year and only beaten by 2 world champions and a European silver medallist - good early season form on a flat course – can’t wait for the hills! Also in the last couple of weeks we have seen great performances from John Skilton putting in a solid 1hr45min in the Blackmore vale half  – looking good for sub 4 in London and both Liz and Mandy put in great times at the Lychett 10. Its getting exciting!
