Jed Skilton, racing for Great Britain in the World Biathle championships, took a fantastic bronze medal in the individual competition and was part of the successful gold medal winning GB team. Racing for a grand total of 4min29sec, Jed pipped the fourth place boy by 3 seconds overall. John got so nervous he had to go and lie down for the afternoon. Jed’s next event is the Sika Trail Duathlon – now we’re talking!

Justin Matthews missed out on a sub 60min 10 mile run in the Great South Run last weekend by just a few seconds – phenomenal running though. In the Stickler, Neil McDermott posted a brilliant 8th place finish although somehow only managed 4th place in his age group – it’s a tough age group!!
