 14th July 2013 – Purbeck Sports Centre

Afternoon races for adults and juniors in the sunshine (haha) with all the normal TriPurbeck trimmings and bbq courtesy of All Stars bar - we’d suggest for after the race.

 The first TriPurbeck Junior Triathlon of the year held entirely within the grounds of the Purbeck Sports centre.

Junior Races – Starting from 4pm:

Age Category Swim Bike Run 2
Tristart (8yrs) 50m 800m 400m
Tristar 1 (9-10yrs) 150m 1600m 800m
Tristar 2 (11-12yrs)    200m 2400m 1200m
Tristar 3 (13-14yrs) 300m 3200m 1600m

The bike course is off road and suitable for mountain bikes. The run course is also off road. The whole event takes place in the grounds of the Purbeck Sports Centre and should make for good spectating!

Registration is open from 3pm.   

Adult Aquathlon – Start Time 5pm  (suitable for all abilities):

Swim 400m – Run 5km

Pool based swim and lap run course on grass.

Prizes:

Adults: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female and 1st male and female vet (over 40)

Juniors: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd boy and girl in each age category.

Additional information:

We are delighted to say that event photography will be provided by tripurbeckphotos. Refreshments will be available near the transition/registration area.

Transition and registration are within 50m of the carpark.

Toilet and shower facilities are available in the sports centre.
