Plenty going on whilst the tri club sessions are asleep as we are away in France but that hasn’t stopped people putting on their racing shoes. Great PB for Rose in the Purbeck Runners 4 mile and Aiden Mowbray had a great race in the Salty Sea Dog although I can’t find his actual results he looked very strong in the photos! Chris had an excellent great race in IM 70.3 Switzerland once he remembered how to go in straight lines after the swim and put in strong bike and run splits to post a time a few minutes over 11 hours. Aiden Mowbray had a great race in the Salty Sea Dog although I can’t find his actual results he looked very strong in the photos! Then he joined us for a few days in the Alps which was very chilled although we did force him up a couple of mountains on his tt bike :-) Cheryl and Gary also joined us and Derek and Sharon so a fairly good TriPurbeck showing on Friday meant we all had to do an interval run set (err maybe…. or was it an interval wine set?)

This weekend is the legendary Alpe D’Huez Triathlon with both Fran and Derek racing the short course, But max was first to compete in the kids triathlon yesterday in what can only be described as total carnage but really good fun…. anyway he did very well and most importantly got his goody bag and a go in the hot tubs they lay on for the adults races!
